Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)

In the financial year 2019/20, the Council received £191.15 in Community Levi Infrastructure (CIL) funds.  This added to the unspent monies for 2018/19 (£2,609.61), gave a total of £2,801.12 available to spend in 2019/20.  £272.55 was spent on play park repairs and £2528.57 on the installation of bus hard standings.  See below for the monitoring report submitted to Swindon Borough Council as confirmation of the use of these funds.

CIL Report 19-20

In the financial year 2018/19 the council received £1,962.40.  This, added with unspent CIL monies received in previous years, gave a total of £4,339.13 held by the Council at the end of the financial year 2018/19. £1729.52 was spent on the installation of barriers at Ventnor Close Leisure Garden and the remaining £2609.61 is earmarked to be spent on play park repairs and the installation of bus hard standings which have taken place in the current financial year: 2019/20
